When Cath first came to Zimbabwe she worked for Green Route, the leading DMC in Southern Africa. The groups Cath oversaw and assisted on ranged from 20 to 300 people.
Cath felt very rewarded watching a “group” transform from just an idea to having the people arrive and be part of their fantastic African experience. From the placing of pillow gifts to the closing of gala events, from activities galore to many a jump at the sound of a lion roar, each and every episode made an impression!
Since she left Green Route, Cath has been involved in organising and co-ordinating events such as golf days, sports days, and gala events for various associations. She worked as a Marketing Consultant on various projects including new product launches, product re-branding, copy-writing and other assignments.
Cath enjoys tennis, yoga, pilates and running. She also loves old-fashioned board games, cards and puzzles and, lo and behold – she knits!! As befits her profession, she enjoys the outdoors and houseboat trips on Lake Kariba where she tries her hand at fishing – and weekends away to the serenity of the Eastern Highlands. She is very glad to be back in tourism as part of the dynamic Victoria Falls DMC team.
